The purchased product is a tailored product made with the best fabrics made in Italy. To ensure optimal longevity of your linen, we recommend that you follow the simple rules below.

Machine washing

Due to the intimate usage of linens, it is recommended that linens be washed before use. Sort your linen by fibre(cotton, linen, silk, etc), colors(whites, light colours, dark colours), type(sheets, towels, tablecloths, throw, etc).

Make sure items are unfold when loading the washing machine, avoid to include items made with synthetic fibres and items with component that can damage fabrics(zippers, or other metal parts).

Items with embroidered decorations and lace should be enclosed in a large, thin, mash bag; pillow case and duvet covers should be washed inside out for the same reason.

Remove from the washing machine immediately after the washing cycle, shake it to minimize wrinkles.

Detergent

Use a mild liquid biodegradable detergent without added bleach or whiteners.

Avoid powered detergent or detergents containing alkali.

Dry

When machine dry, never use high temperate. Set your dryer on medium fan & spin speed.

Is also important to remove items before completely dry, then iron.

For line dry, shake item before hanging. Do you place colored items in direct sunlight - extended exposure may cause in some cases colors changes.

Wool, or other delicate items should not be hang vertically; ay flat on drying rack to prevent overstretching.

Ironing

Use a steam iron on a warm/hot setting for cotton; use a hot setting for linen and a water spritzer if needed.

Embroidered areas, or waxed linen fabrics must be ironed on the reverse side.

void using spray starch, better to spray water, choose the proper temperature, as indicated by the symbols on the care label: medium/high for cotton and linen, low for silk and wool. To protect the softness and absorbency of towels, do not iron.

Dry cleaning

Delicate fibrers, such as silk, wool, cashmere, etc, are best professional cleaned.

Be sure to use a professional dry cleaner who have experience with luxury linen.

Storing

Store linens folded flat in a cool, dry and well ventilated area. Avoid to use plastic bags; do not store in direct sun light.
